U-KISS Dong Ho will play as Yoo Seung-Won on "My Black Mini Dress" along with the famous actress, Yoon Eun-Hye.

Shin Dong Ho, who made his first appearance with his debut "Villain and the Widow", is currently playing the role as Yoo Seung-Won, a high school student and a one-sided love guy who has a crush on his schoolmate, Yoon In-na in his new film, "My Black Mini Dress". The film will be released on the 24th day of March.

Dong Ho will further focus on his acting career from now on. He is appearing on MBC mini-series drama "Royal Family" as Byung-Joon, the son of Yeom Jeong-Ah and he has been casted in Ra Hee-Chan's film "Happy Together." Also, in director Kim Yong-Han's film "Don't Cry Mommy" starring Yoo Seon, Dong Ho will play as Yoon Jo-Han.

Recently, NH Media posted an announcement on U-kiss' official website regarding Kibum and Alexander.

Posted on the 23rd, NH Media says their apologies to the fans of U-kiss with regards to Kibum and Alexander's issues.

Hello, this is NH Media,

U-kiss would like to thank everyone from your supports and would like to apologize for the series of articles that were revealed. Also, we would like to give our official notice about the issues.

First, we would like to say sorry. With regards to this issue, Kibum and Alexander withdrawing from the group is indeed true and it is true that U-kiss will have a new member and are currently in practice/rehearsing.

We terminated Kibum's contract because of his position in the group. Alexander did left the group and his domestic individual activities is currently on talk/ planning about it.

U-KISS’s Kim Kibum provides further detail on withdrawal on KBS’s “Entertainers”

Following the news of U-KISS’s Kim Kibum and Alexander leaving the group due to the agency desiring member replacements, Kim Kibum recently made an appearance on KBS’s “Entertainers” to explain the current situation in a bit more depth.

Hello, this is Kim Kibum.

First of all, I’m very sorry for having to meet everyone for this news.

And I’m immensely sorry for having to reveal my no make-up face… I’ve been having a hard time you see… (Laughs)

Q: What is the current situation?

A: My contract with my former agency has been cancelled. Around February, the agency told me that they would like to do some member replacements, and when I asked if it was me who was to get replaced, they replied yes.

First of all, they said my vocal role in the group was weak. I respected my agency’s opinion and agreed to cancel my contract.

Q: What is the reason behind “Kim Kibum withdrawing” being such a hot topic of discussion?

A: (Laughs) Well, I think there were a lot of areas I lacked in. I think my capability as a singer was lacking.

Q: There is talk that you withdrew to focus on your business?

I don’t know how that rumor came about. Because my activities ended after my contract was cancelled, for about a month I didn’t participate in activities during U-KISS’s promotions.

To be honest, I didn’t say anything in that time because I didn’t want it to affect the other members. I think that caused the misunderstanding. Our fans were misunderstanding the situation, and were saying things like, “Has he stopped U-KISS promotions because of his business?” and “If you’re going to put your focus on your business, then just become an entrepreneur. So I think that misunderstanding came about during that one month.

Q: What is the response from fans?

A: There are a lot of fans who’ve told me to come back, and there are a lot who say it’s not U-KISS without seven members. I’m apologetic towards the fans because of how this situation came out to be. They believed in me, so I’m hurt that Alexander and I had to withdraw from U-KISS. I’m a bit disappointed that I didn’t get to stay on my will.

If U-KISS becomes more successful with member replacements, then I guess I’m fine with that.

Q: What was your brother’s reaction to the situation?

My brother seemed really hurt that we couldn’t go right till the end together, and that I ended up getting off the bus halfway through. He said to me, “I wanted you to do well, I don’t know how the situation came to be like this.”

I was okay with it, but my brother got angry (Laughs). But he said that things like this can happen, and told me to always have strength.

I’m planning to push forward with my personal activities, and I’ll working hard to achieve success with my character business.

I’m very sorry that I had to show myself in a situation like this, but I will do my best to show a better image of myself.

110224 {NEWS} U-Kiss Fans and Family Talk About Alexander and Kim Bum's Controversy

Due to the recent controversy regarding U-Kiss, their fans and family members have also reacted.

NH Media announced that Alexander and Ki Bum were leaving the group and that they were recruiting new members.They said that both of them were quiting because of personal reasons but later this was refuted.

Ki Bum confessed that he was actually forced to sign a document in order to leave the group. Like we reported we posted a comment on his twitter accountsaying that he prioritized U-Kiss over the company he created with his brother.

Alexander's father has also decided to speak about this matter and sent a message to Ki Bum. He left him the following tweets.

“KBummie, I'll be always on ur side & by ur side & more importantly God is w/ us,” Mr. Eusebio said.

“Son, I know u're hurting, we knew it's not ur fault! Soon they'll know the truth, & the truth will set u free!”

Ki Bum as well thank him saying, “Thank u father, everything's tearing me apart. I'm still hurting.”

While Ki Bum will leaving the company, Alexander will remain on it but without being part of U-Kiss.

In the meantime KISSMEs around the world are signing an online petition in order to bring both members back to the band. So far they have already gotten 3,100 signs.

The fans are also criticizing the company, and have commented that Alexander and Ki Bum are important in U-Kiss.

We still need to wait to know how this story is going to end. However, it has been said that U-Kiss will make their comeback as a 5 member group since they have already finished the recording for the album.

Kim Kibum recently talked about his withdrawal from U-KISS.

On the 23rd, Kim Kibum said during a phone interview with Sportchosun "I did't quit the team, I was asked to leave. 2 or 3 weeks ago, the company said to us that 'Changes is needed in U-KISS. Two members will be replaced'. So I asked 'Am I the target of the replacement' and they replied 'yes'. Since then, they keep asking me about contract termination everyday. It seems better for them if I terminate the contract as soon as possible. They asked me to sign the agreement of contract termination and with the terms claiming that 'I agree to terminate the contract with the agency'. I was asked to promise not to say anything until the next album come out, I am embarrassed of this. The talks about me leaving the team because of my business is ridiculous. Alexander hyung's contract has not been terminated yet. I heard that he will be used only for international activities. It's ridiculous."

Kim Kibum explained the situation through his Twitter and Cyworld "Hello this is U-KISS Kibum, or more specifically, an ex-member of U-KISS, Kim Kibum. After two months of delay, I've finally plucked up the courage to write this post. First off, the agency and I have made an agreement to terminate about my exclusive contract on February 2011. As the agency desired a member replacement, we wrote out a consent document for a contract dissolution, and from that day on, I became a former member of U-KISS. Contrary to what most of you might be thinking, this is unrelated to my Piro Piro business … nor is it about losing interest in U-KISS. I always thought importantly of U-KISS more than anyone, and I'm proud to say that not once did my Piro Piro character business impede my schedules with U-KISS.. I always thought of the members as more than family."

"I'm extremely upset that I have to part with them like this, but it was because of my lacking areas which warranted my former agency to desire a member replacement. I may be leaving on a one-sided decision, however, I was able to learn a lot and meet many people, as well as the U-KISS members. My feelings are very mixed up on the thought that the few lines in this message could hurt a lot of people I love. I will continue my personal activities on broadcast. Former U-Kiss member Kim Kibum recently confessed his feelings about leaving the team.

“I didn’t quit, they canceled my contract,” said Kim Kibum in a phone conversation with Newsen on the 23rd. Kibum added, “the agency first told us they are going to replace two members. They demanded me to sign an agreement on canceling my contract, so I did.”

Kibum was puzzled about the news that said he had quit the group. “I feel sorry to our fans,” said Kibum.

Kibum posted a long tweet to his fans:
That tweet began with, “안녕하세요 유키스 기범, 아니 정확히는 유키스로 활동했던 김기범입니다/ Hello, I am U-Kiss Kibum, no, I was U-Kiss Kim Kibum.”

Kibum says he didn’t voluntarily quit U-Kiss to focus on his Piro Piro character business but was required to sign the contract cancellation agreement and leave the group. Kibum says his business never distracted him from his U-Kiss activites and prioritized U-Kiss over anything else.

“가족같이 아니 그 이상으로 멤버들을 생각해왔습니다 이렇게 헤어지게 된것이 정말 섭섭한 마음이지만 제가 모자란 부분이 많아 유키스에 교체가 필요할 것이라는 전 소속사의 의견또한 존중하는 바입니다 / I thought of the members like my family…no, more than that. I’m so sad to say good-bye to them like this but I do respect the agency’s decision to replace me with someone better.”

Kibum thanked his fans and promised that he’ll continue to appear on air by himself as both a talent and business man.

This was also the case for member Alexander. “I did leave U-Kiss,” said Alexander on the phone with Newsen. “But it wasn’t because of school like they stated.”

U-Kiss’s agency NH Media will be replacing Kim Kibum and Alexander with new members, believing that it will strengthen the group vocals and bring about a change to U-Kiss.

After all the speculations and confirmations regarding Alexander and Kibum's withdrawal from UKISS, Kim Kibum's older brother Kim Hyungjoon has left an encouraging message to his sibling on microblogging site Twitter.

Kim Hyungjoon's message follows Kim Kibum's long apology, explaining his side of NH Media's decision to terminate his contract. On the 24th of February, Hyungjoon sent message to Kibum saying, "My lovely younger brother, I know it's hard right now but your life will be full of good people and good things so you don't need to worry. This and that happens during life, so let's just smile ^^." Furthermore, he ended his encouraging message with a final statement saying, "I love you, little brother."

Meanwhile, fans of the "Kim Brothers" expressed their support by leaving replies such as, "Yes, be there for Kibum. Help him stand up again." and "Thanks for the good advice to him! 110223 U-Kiss' agency thought about the members' withdrawal for a long time

With all the controversy and mystery behind the new U-Kiss situation, Kibum shared a message with his fans.

On his message he greeted his fans and explained the reasons behind his departure from U-Kiss.

He started by introduced himself as a U-Kiss' member and proceeded to change it to call himself Kim Kibum who was once active as U-Kiss.

He continued saying that after two months of rumors he decided to leave this message.

He said that he agreed with his company on the termination of his contract since the beginning of February 2011.

He requested to leave the company as they wanted a change in members, that is why they signed an agreement. He proceeded to say that since that day he was no longer a member of U-Kiss. He said that he wrote the message thinking about the U-Kiss members who are more than family to him. He said that he will respect the company even if they add new members to replace him.

U-KISS’s agency, NH Media, recently came out with an official statement regarding the withdrawal of two members, Alexander and Kim Kibum.
NH Media issued a press release on February 23rd which read, “We felt infinite happiness during the time we spent together with U-KISS, however, after a long time of worrying, we made this difficult decision because we genuinely felt that the team needed member replacements.”

“With Kim Kibum’s case, we made a mutual agreement to terminate his exclusive contract recently. With Alexander’s case, he may be leaving U-KISS, but after a very long discussion, we decided that he will be remaining with the agency to fulfill his personal, overseas activities.”

Industry representatives revealed on February 23rd that U-KISS‘ Alexander and Kim Kibum disclosed that they would be leaving the group. As such, the two will not participate in U-KISS’ comeback album.

Alexander was reported to have discussed the issue at length with his agency, and eventually decided to leave for personal reasons; it’s also said that Alexander wanted to pursue his studies.

Kim Kibum

will be leaving in order to focus on his character company with his older brother, SS501’sKim Hyung Joon. Some fans felt that their premonition had come true when they read Kim Kibum’s earlier tweet, which said, “This March, I have news you might not like. But when the time comes, I will tell it like it is.”

Through OSEN, it was revealed that although Alexander was leaving U-Kiss, he will remain under NH Media and pursue other activities. The contract termination was only effected with Kim Kibum. An official stance from NH Media will be revealed soon regarding the whole matter.
