110106 U-KISS’s Soohyun, Kibum and Kiseop Admitted To Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University
U-KISS's Soohyun, Kibum and Kiseop were admitted to Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University.
Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University's official said on the 6th "In 2011, Soohyun, Kibum and Kiseop will be entering the University as freshmen."
They debuted as U-KISS members in 2008, and have lots of hit tracks such as 'Man Man Ha Ni' and 'Shut Up!'. They released their first Japanese album entitled 'First Kiss' in Japan last month and was ranked 2nd in Daily Oricon Chart. More, their Tokyo's concert tickets were sold out too.

110106 U-Kiss' Kevin "First Kiss Hundreds Of Times Because Of Musical"
Recently, Kevin has safely completed his first performance of 'On Air Live' musical. He played the role of a popular idol that has left the entertainment industry, and returned as a radio DJ.
Kevin who has practiced hard for his musical debut said "I was nervous since it was my first musical stage, but I was thrilled too. Plus, I haven't had my first kiss yet... I was trembling because I had to do it with the actresses for the stage performance. I wanted to do well since the fans were watching."
Kevin came out on stage with a trembling heart but thanks to the intensive practice, he managed to pour out all his emotions.
After the performance ended, the press who were waiting poured Kevin questions about his first kiss's feeling, he laughed and answered "I think about my first kiss a lot during the performance. Since there will be four times... so, I will have my first kiss hundreds of times then?"
A few fans from Taiwan and Japan flew to Korea just to congratulate Kevin on his first performance. They were holding a placard with a cute support message "Congratulation of Kevin's first performance and first kiss" written on it.
Other actors for 'On Air Live' musical are Lee Jungmun, Bae Seulgi, Seo Yeong, Shini and Yoo Dongyoon. The musical will be continuing showing until February 14th at Chungmu Art Hall.

110105 Alexander Hosts Arirang TV’s New Year’s Special Documentary
Arirang TV’s special documentary, “Arirang Wave,” will delve into the new concept of the ‘Korean Wave’ that is sweeping across Asian nations, and will explore the places where ‘K-pop’ leads this movement.
Recently, Korean pop music has experienced a huge rise in popularity in Asia. ‘K-pop’ is a common term that refers to Korean pop music, and Arirang TV will visit the places that are most enthusiastic and passionate about ‘K-pop’.
Vietnam, Indonesia, Mongolia, and other Asian countries, have experienced a “K-Pop fever,” partly because of Arirang TV’s contribution. By broadcasting various Korean pop concerts to all of Asia, Arirang TV has shown Korea’s modern culture and its most popular music genre to those not living in Korea.
Nowadays, the ‘Korean Wave’ has been a popular topic for conversations concerning modern culture and music. People who visit Korea and foreign students in Korea believe that Korea’s image has evolved into something that must be watched because of the ‘Korean Wave’.
A great example of the effects of the ‘Korean Wave’ is U-Kiss, a famous K-pop group; they have met many of their adoring fans through Arirang TV, and are now one of the hottest icon groups in Asia.
This special documentary, “Arirang Wave,” will be hosted by Alexander, a member of U-Kiss. Alexander will inform viewers about his experiences concerning foreign fans and their love for Korea.
