U-Kiss’s Kevin to star in a musical
U-Kiss’s Kevin is set to star in an upcoming musical, titled, “On Air Live.”
This musical made its debut in 2008 and is now in its fourth season. He plays a character that retires from being an idol and moves on to being a radio DJ.
Kevin said, “I’m nervous and excited for my first challenge as a musical actor. I want to show a hard-working side of me. I’m a little worried, but I’m used to being in a radio booth, and I’m an idol myself so those things will come in handy for the musical.”
He will also have a love connection with the radio producer.
The musical will run from December 1st to February 14th.

101103 U-Kiss Members Alexander and Kiseop Visit the Dentist on a Plane?
This time they are on the plane, or shall I say at the dental clinic, on their way to Japan. The duo even caused the stewardess that took the actual photo to laugh, along with everyone else, at their funny antics.
He updated the following along with the photo,
“Last but not the least… Kiseop & I did stupid stuff on the plane~ Dental clinic VS plane reading light~ LOL!!!!”
” and many more hilarious comments. Lets hope they have brushed their teeth well!Alexander also revealed that Kiseop is going to join Twitter soon, all that they are waiting on is for his new iPhone, which should arrive next week. Not long now till you receive updates from his comedy partner.

101105 U-Kiss Kevin to Make His Musical Debut in On Air Live
This December will mark the fourth season of the musical.
Kevin’s character is described as a former super idol who leaves the entertainment industry after a scandal. After the character becomes a radio DJ, the musical follows the truthful and stoic male lead as he heals and grows. Kevin’s character will also have a romantic love line with the female protagonist.
Kevin says, “As it is my first challenge, I’m extremely nervous and look forward to it. With the attitude of learning step-by-step, I want to show my vision. I’m nervous and a little worried but the thankful thing is that my familiar radio booth is the background. And the role I will be playing is an former idol turned radio DJ so it is a very helpful point when it comes to understanding the role.”
The musical, On Air Live, will run from December 1st to February 14, 2011.

10 K-Pop Groups At Saitama Super Arena
Korean TV station SBS has joined with Japanese station TBS to hold a large K-POP event for their 20th anniversary. The event was held at Saitama’s Saitama Super Arena on the 3rd and was called “SEOUL TOKYO MUSIC FESTIVAL 2010”. 10 popular K-POP groups including BIGBANG, KARA and 4Minute were present. Before the event there was a press conference and U-KISS greeted in Japanese, “This is a pretty place and the people are kind, I totally love Japan. I love it!” BIGBANG also spoke in perfect Japanese, “We’re happy we can meet all of our fans here together with other representative groups from Korea.”SBS and TBS will both show this same K-POP event. It was a precious moment when new groups and veterans met together in the same place. The groups were: BIGBANG, KARA, 4Minute, 2NE1, FTIsland, CNBLUE, Brown Eyed Girls, U-KISS, RAINBOW and TEEN TOP. 2NE1 said at the interview, “We’re happy we can spend time with all of our Japanese fans”. KARA also smiled and enthusiastically spoke, “It’s an honor to perform here. We’ll do our best in our Japanese and Korean activities, so please watch over us.”

Nominees for the ‘25th Golden Disk Awards’ revealed!
The ‘Golden Disk Awards‘ has recently revealed their nominees for its 2010 awards ceremony, set to be held on December 9th at Koryeo University.
The awards show first began in 1986, and since then, it’s become Korea’s most prestigious awards ceremony for music. Nicknamed the ‘Korean Grammy Awards,’ the ceremony is known for its fair standards, as the committee utilizes figures from album and digital music sales only.
Due to such simplistic standards, the show is able to feature the truly successful artists that have received the love of the public each year, including the ‘indie’ or ‘underground musicians.
